Tim's Crabhouse and Skiing

It was David's last week after 30 years at the marina so we all took the day off. We arrived at Tim's Rivershore Restaurant and Crabhouse (www.timsrivershore.com) at 11:30 AM with plenty of room to tie up right at the dock (on weekends when it's busy Tim's will send a boat out to get you). We feasted on chicken wings, hardshells, and full lunches—crab imperial, crab cakes, catfish, hush puppies, and assortment platters. After we had way too much to eat, we anchored up over at One Tree Island for some tubing and skiing. Dave and I dropped Hassan off and picked up Master Gunnery Sargeant Dan Orland, our quantico crew chief. This skiing area is just 4 miles from the marina!

At the end of a great day we all went home promising to take time off again soon.
