Happy New Year!

Well we’re now only 35 Days from the Washington Boat Show. It won’t be long folks before we’re headed into a brand new boating season! The new Chris Crafts, Cobalts and Chaparrals are arriving daily and I’m really excited about the new models including the Chris Craft 19 Speedster, Cobalt 24SX and 272, and the Chaparral 216, 210 walk thru, and 255 Cuddy. All of these should be on display at the boat show by the way. Looking forward to 2005, we all have New Years Resolutions and here are a few of mine:

• Organize a Hoffmaster’s cruise. Would love help on this, thinking about August.
• Learn how to wakeboard.
• Spend at least one weekend at Tall Timbers Marina. Those people are so nice to Olivia it’s unreal.
• Have a drink on the deck at Tim’s Rivershore—that will be something to celebrate.
• Eat a meal at the restaurant at Fort Washington marina
• Take a trip to Mount Vernon, actually pull up to the dock, get out and sightsee.

If you get the idea that I’m planning to use my boat a lot you’re right! We used Hardshell a good bit last year, but really hadn’t been down river since Olivia was born. We took a trip to Tall Timbers this summer and she just had a grand time. It really made Sally and I want to get out on the water more than ever.

I have plans for the marina of course—improvements, sales goals, hiring goals, etc. but the most important thing I think I can do is just boat. That’s what this is all about!
