March Cherry Blossoms in Washington, D.C.
Usually the blossoms bloom in late March so I recommend good friends, warm clothes, a beagle (if applicable) and a bottle of good red wine (I find the best vintages are provided by guests). We anchored in Washington Harbor with hot appetizers thanks to Sally and "Hardshell's " galley (the generator helps here).

The payoff for this "work" was the magnificent cherry blossoms—no cars, no crowds, no hassle.
Just relaxation, beauty, and the enjoyment of fresh air and friends. We got home in the late
afternoon proud of ourselves for sneaking in this extra boating.
