| Wish I could get myself organized but guess it's not going to happen today. I finished a whole bunch of business travel finally and won't get on the road again until July which is cool because Sally's due with our first child on the 19th of January. |
| Looks like we're going to keep fixing the place up so once more please email us or call us with your thoughts about things that would increase your usage of the marina. We know we need to do a lot of maintenance and we have some thoughts but I don't want for example to put in a basketball goal or a play place if no one will use it. |
| Mostly though I just have one thought on my mind: That I want each and every one of you to have a very happy 2002 that's filled with a lot of fun things, including boating, health, and peace. |

Added 1/10/02: It looks like the economy is picking up. The New York Show (always a bellweather for the economy) has been way up from 2001 with lots of Chaparrals sold and lots of Chris Crafts, with the 28 Launch the hottest boat. |
|
News From Chris Craft: The new Chris-Craft Boats operation in Sarasota, Fla., has signed an agreement with Mercury Marine to offer MerCruiser sterndrive power packages on new Chris-Craft models. MerCruiser options for Chris-Craft boats range from 260 to 425 hp. They will be available on Chris-Craft's Heritage Edition Launch series, the centerpieces of the company's 2002 model lineup under its new ownership. |
| News From Chris Craft and
Chaparral: Both manufacturers are giving heavy incentives but they're all BOAT SHOW only, it will be very hard to even hold the incentives through the open house. If you're sending friends to the booth please explain to them that even though we have always tried to be loose on holding boat show prices that won't be the case this year. You have to at least sign a contract with contingencies to get the pricing. |
