What's happening around the Marina
- Thanks very much to the outstanding response
we've had so far to our marketing survey. We'll be collecting
surveys through the rest of the month so please get yours in!
- Also thanks a bunch for your excellent
response to our winterization checklists. One idea that came
from our marketing surveys was that we should "hold your
hand" a little bit if you are new to the marina. As a result
I have a winterization FAQ that I've started on our FAQ
page. I'll be adding to this FAQ page over the winter so
if you want one on a specific area of marina policy just drop
me a line.
- I know I need to say this more but please
remember-no matter how long you've been with us no question is
stupid. We give for-fee docking lessons, navigation rides, free
tips on navigation, and free unlimited answers-only to our customers.
That's why we're here. If you want some advice please visit our
contact page where you can email us.
Of course, you are welcome to call or fax as well.

| We've done a
lot of work at the entrance to the marina in the past month and
installed a picnic area in the south end of the property.
Let me know if we should do more with the picnic area. |
Just returned
from the Chris Craft Meeting in Sarasota. Saw some Launches with
the new Heritage package and a presentation by Michael Peters
Yacht Design, designer of the Launches, for a line built around
the Roamer 35'-60'. The main difference in my mind about this
plan vs. previous ones is that we have brand and boats under
the same ownership for the first time in 21 years. The only committee
in on these decisions are the 2 owners and their VP's.
