The bath house is fixed up, we'll have the new store doors on this week, and we're starting in on the landscaping. People seem to like all the watersports displays we put up and I hope you'll check out the sweats and denim Hoffmaster's shirts we're carrying now.

The US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 14-06 will be conducting a 4 week class on Monday and Wednesday nights starting June 30th and July 28th at Carl Sandburg Middle School, 8428 Fort Hunt Rd. Alexandria, VA 22308. The only expense is course materials. For class times or more info contact Sam Shafer at 703-780-8914

Next year you should make plans to attend the Alexandria Red Cross Waterfront Festival. The perfect excuse to spend a weekend in Old Town. I went there Sunday and Alexandria City dock was half full!

Tim's Rivershore fireworks will be June 28th, and Alexandria's fireworks probably July 13th so don't think you have to go to DC on the 4th, although that is a Friday night this year.
