We collected $100 for the Anacostia Watershed Society, cooked up a ton of cheeseburgers, and had outstanding dinghy races and tunes. If you missed it too bad, make sure you get by next time.

I'm posting this on the Marina Rules FAQ. There are 3 things I think we should be doing:

• Don't walk your dogs in the picnic area. This goes to the old saying don't s--- where you eat.
• Don't leave your stuff on the pier. That is by order of fire marshall. Specifically I see inflatables, lines, hoses, fuel tanks(!) on the piers and they have to be removed. There is also no barbecuing allowed on the piers themselves.
• Please don't place old batteries by the dumpster. Place them on the stoop to the battery shop with a big "X" on the side and we'll dispose of them.
