The water fountain has died. It was removed today and taken to it's final resting place. For all the delicious, cool water over the years we thank you water fountain.

The icemaker has the same disease unfortunately. I think we'll be pitching it pretty soon as well and using that space for file cabinets, maybe get a machine for the snack bar.

The marines will start groundskeeping late Feb/early March

The travelift will undergo final repairs next month and then will start hauling motor yachts again.

So far so good. The units are the same as last year but the dollars are up. I took some flack from people trying to disrespect OMC but overall people were fine. One customer who has ordered a 308 had this to say:

"We trust you and your crew completely, we know we have choices in both boat brands and marina's, and Hoffmasters always came out on top, it was more or less a no brainer for us.

It was pretty impressive at the Chantilly show when we were looking at the
other boats there and the salesmen were trying to push their product, when
we told them we were just dreaming of two years down the road, they again
pressed why not now.

We told them we had already purchased a Chris, their response was: "You got it from Joe, and we don't blame you" The second came up with "Hoffmasters, its tough to compete with the staff down there, and we know you'll enjoy it!"

We never told them where we got it from, knowing there are only a few Chris
Dealers around the area.

It was a nice warm feeling to have them regard you and Hoffmasters so
highly."

In the meantime Chaparral is doing just great! Now if I can just get a helm seat changed on the 350.......

The DC Show is shaping up to be a good one. I'm really excited about getting the Launches and Connie in front of people. Of course, I may be out of Chris Crafts and have to put up a sign saying sorry, sold out-that would give some people pause.

This will be the first year for us bringing Chaparrals. South River Yachts Sales has graciously permitted us to share booth space with them in the hopes that we might grow that space in DC. Stay tuned for more updates.
