It's been all snow- It's prevented us from completing our bottom and gelcoat jobs but hopefully we can get a little break and get them banged out before too long. We also managed to get 2 men certified for travel lift operation, pretty much everyone through the safe boating course so they are certified as watercraft salesmen, installed an ethernet network finally, and got the launch ramp repaired. |
| In spite of moving in during a snowstorm, the Superbowl, and moving out the day after an ice storm we sold some boats. All models got interest but stand outs were the 180 SSe, 233 Sunesta Deckboat, and 216 and 230 SSi models. | |

Fred and Diane Kirby were the first buyers of the Y2K model year, taking delivery last August of a 328 Chris Craft Express. Fred is heavily involved in a jet leasing program that specializes in customer service. The customers time share (so to speak) the jet. Fred is in charge of a program that sets up everything from catering the planes to arranging transfers to hotels. Sounds like a fascinating job, and very apt for the first Chris Craft owner of the new millenium. |

The Washington Boat Show looks like a record for us. We have to wait for the washout over the next 2 weekends which will tell us for sure. Especially popular were the sportdecks and the new 308. Well, it's my first day off in 12 so I'm going to go take a nap. |
